February 2004 Awards
Two $1,000 Culinary Grants were awarded on January 31, 2004.
Many applications and essays were received and reviewed for the stated qualifications. Four finalists were selected. A selected group of qualified Chefs reviewed their posts, read their essays and then select the two recipients.
All four of the finalists were deserving and the decision was a very hard one to make. After two weeks of reviews and more reviews, the two culinary grant recipients were selected. The Recipients are:
