Thursday, June 22, 2006 Winery Owners and winemaker for Two Rivers Winery host a social and wine tasting for the volunteers at The Chateau at Two Rivers. Chefs are staying at the Chateau in the very plush suites.
Friday, June 23, 2006 Breakfast at The Chateau:
Board buses for tour of the Enstrom Chocolate manufacturing plant. Enstrom's owner Doug Simmons will take all the chefs on a behind the scenes tour of the operations of the 115K sq. ft. commercial chocolate factory.
Board buses for winery tour. Five wineries will be readily receiving the chefs for a tour and tasting of what they make and how they make it. Box Lunch provided.
Return to kitchen to inventory mise and do prep work.
Bus back to The Chateau to change for dinner:
Dinner at Il Bistro Italiano: Chef owners Ron and Brunella are laying out nine courses plus wine for the chefs. (Professional photographer on hand) Winery owner and winemaker Guy Drew will be on hand to take you through his wines.
Saturday, June 24, 2006 Breakfast at the Chateau:
Board bus for
kitchen prep for the meal
Decoration crew to the Chateau for set up.
Prep complete load and move to chateau for preparation of plating and serve.
First Course Social intro off at 6:30 PM.
Finish all plating and service by 10:30 PM
11:00 PM Zane and Mary Lou Lawson layout Chefs Dinner at the Chateau. Catering Bar B Q sponsored by Cowboy and The Rose Catering.
